The Management Team
Paul Martin MBA – President/Founder Paul's responsibilities are to lead the company's business and technical vision. With more than 27 years in bringing innovative technology to the government markets, he is responsible for leading the company and working with the board members. Paul has worked with leading Global companies in the public safety and technical areas such as Motorola Fujitsu, CGI, EADS and now Advance Property eXposure. Paul has an MBA, is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and has an Electronic Engineering degree.
Gérard Bourdeau MBA, CMA - Chief Operating Officer Gerry leads the operations and strategic planning for APX. As the General Manager at Bell Canada, he was responsible for Strategy and Results; He has over 20 years of experience in building and leading high performance teams, strategic planning, project management, human resources and finance. Gérard has provided advice to leaders in companies such as Bell Canada, Shopify, Brookfield Power, Expedia, Trip Advisor, Bank of America, Toronto Dominion, and various levels of government in outsourcing technology. Gérard holds an MBA from Queens University and A Bachelor's in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa. He is also a Certified Management Accountant.
Warren Gallagher - Chief Technology Officer Warren leads the technology strategy and runs the R&D organization. Expert in web technologies, systems programming, real-time event processing and high-performance network computing. Warren has worked in the computing and telecommunications industries for 32 years having assumed roles as VP Product Development, Chief Technology Officer, Chief Architect, Strategic Product Planner and Software Designer. Warren has founded two technology companies and has advised several others. In 2000 Warren was CTO of SpeechFront, a company he co-founded. SpeechFront was focused on building speech-activated applications for wireless telecommunications carriers.
Sheldon Stevens - Chief Financial Officer Sheldon is qualified as a CPA, CA. He worked with Ernst & Young’s accounting and management consulting groups before joining Husky Injection Molding Systems. He joined Deloitte Consulting in 1995, where he managed projects within both the Value Based Management and Change Leadership service lines. He was a founding shareholder of VOCI, a voice response company based in Silicon Valley, as well as UnCommon grounds, a chain of coffee shops. Over the past 16 years, Mr. Stevens has been the CFO for over 25 companies including, DNA Genotek, Privacy Analytics, Risk Sciences International, bluArc Communications, and Embotics Corporation. He has repeatedly worked with founders to help grow their ideas into companies and on to successful exits for all shareholders. Mr. Stevens has sat on the board of HireTopTalent Inc, Network Planning Systems, IPeak Networks (now LiveQOS) and MyHealth Interactive Magazine and Agent App.
Barry Cross - Barry is an expert on innovation, execution and project management. He led many key strategic initiatives, including nearly 30 product launches, and managed offshore relationships in Asia, Latin America and Europe. His speaking and consulting clients include Shoppers Drug Mart, LG, Canada Post, Enbridge and Export Development Canada.
Andy Moffat - Andy is the Co-Founder and CEO of Keshet Technologies Inc. Since 2004, Keshet has assisted up-and-coming IT businesses and entrepreneurs with financing and strategic guidance. Prior to Keshet, Mr. Moffat was a founder and the Chief Executive Officer of EDUCOM TS Inc., an independent software vendor, developing solutions for the email archive market space.
Parm Gill - Mr. Parm Gill is a serial technology entrepreneur and, over the years, he has guided the growth and development of numerous startup companies. As Managing Partner of the Gill Group, he acts as a strategic advisor, mentor, investor, and connector for startup companies. He brings with him the experience and expertise of guiding the growth and development of numerous start-up companies, from initial planning and fund-raising to business development and intellectual property development.
