Peter Seeligsohn (Chair) - Peter is currently Chairman of the Board at Espial Group Inc. a public traded company. He has been a director of Espial since 2001 and served on many boards of companies like SiberCore, Synamics Inc. Interactive Media Group, Gallium Software, Navtel, NewStep, Semiconductor Insights and FutureCom. Peter has over 10 years of Venture Capital and related experience and is familiar with all aspects of structuring, negotiating and managing investments. He is also an active investor and has a strong background on company financial matters.

Michael Branning - Michael T. Branning is the Chief Executive Officer of Avtec, Inc., the leading independent provider of mission-critical console systems in North America. He holds a BSEE from Clemson University and is a long time member of Vistage. Michael has 30 years of experience at Avtec—in various roles—serving the command center communications needs of Airline, Railroad, Utility, Government, and Enterprise customers. In the CEO role, Branning sets the company’s vision, culture, and long term strategy, and has led Avtec’s transformation from a hardware manufacturer to a full service software solutions provider.

Ella Mar - Ella is a principal consultant at P2Peak, where she supports growing businesses bring strategic planning into the realm of clear manageable action plans and successful execution. Ella has held senior management positions in Ottawa’s most dynamic technology companies, including Nortel, Entrust, CrossKeys, Espial and Irdeto.

Tony Sottile - After graduating from the Mechanical Engineering program at Carleton University in Ottawa, Tony began his career as a Project Manager and joined Modern Mechanical, the founding organization of the Modern Niagara Group, in 1990. During his career, Tony has gained experience in various commercial and institutional construction sectors such as health care, data centers, and high rise commercial buildings.

As a partner since 1993, and as CEO of the Modern Niagara Group since 2004, Tony led the team through a sustained period of substantial growth. The Modern Niagara Group has been recognized as a Platinum recipient of Canada’s Best Managed Companies. Tony has served as the Chairman of the Ottawa Construction Association (OCA), the Mechanical Contractors Association (MCA) of Ottawa and the Canadian Mechanical Contractors Education Foundation (CMCEF). Tony is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario and a member of ASHRAE.

Paul Martin - Paul is the President and Founder of APX, with more than 27 years in bringing innovative technology to the government markets. He is responsible for the vision and leadership of the company. Paul has worked with leading Global companies in the public safety and technical areas such as Motorola Fujitsu, CGI, EADS and now Advance Property eXposure. Paul has an MBA, is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and has an Electronic Engineering degree.

Sheldon Stevens (Secretary of the Board) - Sheldon is qualified as a CPA, CA. He worked with Ernst & Young’s accounting and management consulting groups before joining Husky Injection Molding Systems. He joined Deloitte Consulting in 1995, where he managed projects within both the Value Based Management and Change Leadership service lines. He was a founding shareholder of VOCI, a voice response company based in Silicon Valley, as well as UnCommon grounds, a chain of coffee shops. Over the past 16 years, Mr. Stevens has been the CFO for over 25 companies including, DNA Genotek, Privacy Analytics, Risk Sciences International, bluArc Communications, and Embotics Corporation. He has repeatedly worked with founders to help grow their ideas into companies and on to successful exits for all shareholders. Mr. Stevens has sat on the board of HireTopTalent Inc, Network Planning Systems, IPeak Networks (now LiveQOS) and MyHealth Interactive Magazine and Agent App.
